Ongoing funding
About the project
Through the projects funded by the Stiftung Zukunft jetzt! since March 2023, the support group has already succeeded in raising awareness of biocyclic-vegan farming among farmers and gardeners and encouraging them to seek certification under the Biocyclic-Vegan Guidelines. Since March 2025, the funding has enabled not only the provision of consulting services to farm managers but also the implementation of additional strategic and administrative activities in line with the association’s goals. Since April 2026, this has included, in particular, the design and launch of a new association website and the hiring of staff in the areas of fundraising and consulting.
The Förderkreis Biozyklisch-Veganer Anbau e. V. brings together people from very diverse backgrounds who share the conviction that ecological agriculture without the use of animals is possible—and that it is a key factor in climate, environmental, and animal protection.
As a nonprofit organization, the Förderkreis advises farms on implementing biocyclic-vegan farming methods. In addition, the team works to further develop biocyclic-vegan farming, share knowledge, and pioneer new approaches to sustainable food systems. The organization is supported in these efforts by companies, initiatives, foundations, associations, and international partners throughout the value chain.
Biocyclic-vegan farming stands for regenerative, sustainable organic farming that opens up a new animal ethical dimension in agriculture.
Why we fund
These projects promote organic farming that focuses not only on climate and environmental protection but also on animal ethics, a vegan lifestyle, and the production of plant-based foods for direct human consumption. The Zukunft jetzt! Foundation has been funding several projects with this focus since March 2023. The current project runs from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.
PROJECT DETAILS
What we fund
The current project continues to focus on providing consulting services to farm managers through the established online farm consulting sessions and on-site consultations, including the assessment of the Biocyclic Farm Index. In addition, fundraising activities are being specifically supported. Furthermore, the creation and launch of a new association website will be made possible. These measures are intended to further spread biocyclic-vegan farming worldwide and establish it as a sustainable approach to agriculture without the use of animals.
